Valentine's Day in Cornwall

Valentine’s Day-Fillers! Your romantic ‘to-do’ list doesn’t have to be standard fayre! Swap the humdrum posies (and cadbury’s roses) and do something different this 14th Feb.

Take a stroll down to the beautiful Kynance Cove (bring the other half as well as the dog)! This stunning beach location is an overwhelming favourite amongst Cornwall’s sandy shores; it is the most photographed and painted location in the Duchy. You might also recognize this tranquil gem from the telly (as Poldark’s beloved Nampara). If you’re up for a spot of exploring, there are plenty of caves and towering rocks to be discovered here! (Make sure you keep a beady eye on the tide times though, don’t get caught out)!kynance

Stay at the Old Coastguard hotel, and enjoy all the comforts this lovely little place has to offer, including our favourite Bramley toiletries (which you can now buy in our shops too)!

Now you know why we like this place so much!

Or how about visiting the beautiful estuary-town of Fowey- Home of the Treffrys (not related to our Poppy, unfortunately)… You could hire a boat and travel down-river, towards the sea, an area regularly frequented by dolphins! Alternatively, why not cruise up-river, past Fowey’s iconic Troy sailing boats, where there are photo-opportunities-a-plenty! Lots of lovely independent shops here too ;)

Tip: try the afternoon tea at the Old Quay House!
